Life Legacy

Sidney (Sid) Quinn Emmert was born on March 18, 1961 at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City to Raymond and Maxine (Felix) Emmert. He was the oldest of four children; Kent Emmert, Eric Emmert and Kara (Emmert) Rice. Sid graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1979. After high school, Sid attended and graduated from Bethany Nazarene College with a degree in Business. While at BNC, Sid met and married Sonya (Stone) Emmert. They had two daughters, Kimberly DeAnn and Lori Rene. Sid built homes in the OKC area for several years. Sid then changed his career to paintless dent repair and soon after began the manufacturing of paintless dent repair tools with his own company, Dentcraft Tools.

Sid had three loves; God, family and flying. Sid was a private pilot for 33 years. He worked hard in order to play hard. He flew at every opportunity and for any reason. Many knew him as The Twinkie Bomber as one of his favorite traditions was dropping the delicious Hostess treats out of his airplane on numerous gatherings and special events. Sid was loved by all and never knew an enemy. He was generous in every way. It is said of Sid that he was the perfect example of Christ-likeness when it came to serving others and giving of himself to make this world a better place. He was a man of God, a devoted husband, and a loving father. He will be missed dearly. Sid is survived by his wife Sonya (Stone) Emmert; two daughters and their spouses, Kimberly DeAnn (Emmert) Metcalf and John Metcalf, Lori Rene (Emmert) Bollinger and Nick Bollinger; his parents, Raymond Emmert and Maxine (Felix) Emmert; and his younger siblings, Kent Emmert and wife Felicia, Eric Emmert and wife Angela, and Kara (Emmert) Rice and husband Jason.
